Mid-Semester update

A lot has been going on....

1) Our baskeball team made its first win, I scored a total of 5 points. The score was something 60-23.

2) Last Friday was student-led chapel, I preached on the passage of the Syro-phoenician woman and Jesus. The point being that faith in Christ is a supernatural thing that is only evident/seen when done in a practical way.

3)Saturday was picnic day. A truly fun day that even though it rained. There was swimming, snorkeling, volleyball, and sitting around enjoying the moment.

4) Last night, the Chuukese students went to a funeral. As part of our custom, we do "ourur." That's like doing a church service for the relatives of the one who died, bringing encouragement and comfort. It's a pretty neat tradition.

5)Today was clean-up day. No fun ;-)
